FAQ's
Tables and Chairs
Tables and chairs are included and can be set up however you choose. Tables are 8 ft. rectangle and chairs are white polyresin. We do not provide linens but can suggest some rentals or purchase options.
Clean Up Responsibilities
Please throw all of your trash in the trash containers. Please DO NOT put trash in the canisters without a trash bag or overfill trash containers. Extra trash bags are provided for you.
Sweep any large messes
Remove any décor items that belong to you. You are welcome to leave things you don't want to keep, we will store it and let another couple enjoy it. Please do not take anything rented or borrowed from The Tin Ceiling. There will be charges for any missing items including decorations, linens, chairs...
Leave the rest to us!
Decorating
Please use command strips to hang anything you choose, but no nails, tacks, tape. There will be a charge for any damage done by use of those items. Even tape can leave a residue that requires painting. Please let anyone helping you decorate know this as well. If you have any questions, just shoot us an email, call, or text.
Please leave all rented items on a table and we will take care of returning. If possible, we would like to go over the list with whoever is cleaning up for you after the event so we can help find everything to avoid any additional charges for you.
Furniture
If there are any furniture items that you would like to be moved other than the tables and chairs, please let us know and we will be happy to help with that. Many of the furniture items are antiques and not replaceable. We would prefer to take on that responsibility and not have our guests liable for any of that.
Kitchen
You are welcome to use the kitchen and any appliances. We ask that you wash and dry anything you are borrowing and just leave on the bar or in the kitchen area. We will take care of putting things away. If you can't find something you need, let us know and we can try to get one for you.
Accessibility
The building is handicap accessible and does have an accessible bathroom. There is a ramp to get up on the sidewalk right in front of our building. There is another accessible ramp up the street.
Parking
Street parking is available but limited in close proximity to venue on Main St. There are other areas to park, but do require some walking. Be sure to ask about this on your tour if you have questions. We recommend having someone in charge of parking. Parking attendants may be available for hire through us based on availability.
Candles
Electronic candles only please. Birthday cake candles and small floating candles inside holders with water will be the only open flame allowed.
Vendors
You can use any vendors you choose. We are happy to partner with and offer discounts through some of the vendors listed below. We included some of our recommendations and favorites as well as local businesses.
Availability
We make every effort to answer questions promptly. The quickest way to reach us is text message or DM. Email may only be checked once per day, so allow 24-48 hours for a reply. You are welcome to call, but please leave a message if we don't answer and we will return your call as soon as we can. Please contact us between the hours of 8am and 10pm any day. We have several team members that work with us that will be able to answer questions, return calls, and schedule tours as well. We will have someone on site or able to answer immediately on your event day.
Payments
Deposit is required at time of booking. All balances are due 60 days prior to day of the event. We can accept cash, check, credit card, Venmo, & PayPal. There will be a fee for all returned checks and booking date will not be held until payment clears. A credit card will be required even if you are not paying with a card to have on file in case of damages or loss of property.
In case of bookings made with a date less than 60 days out, full payment will be required at time of booking.
Alcohol
Only professional mobile bar services will be allowed. You must hire a reputable bartending company. Only beer and wine will be allowed, no hard liquor, no shots, no doubles. There will be an additional fee if you want to have alcohol at your event. Even if you and your guests drink responsibly, there is increased cleaning and liability insurance costs we have to cover for the day. Please follow laws and ensure your guests do as well. Please inform us of your intent to hire professional bar service at time of booking.
Damages or Lost/Stolen Property
Accidents happen. We make every effort to decrease your liability and ours. If you follow rules on decorating and not moving the antique furniture, this will greatly reduce the risk of damaging something. If something happens, please just let us know and we will work with you on getting repairs. It's very sad, but people steal things. Unfortunately, you will have to be responsible for yourselves, family, and guests to not take things that don't belong to them. We want to have beautiful things you can use to decorate with and want each bride or customer to have the same. We do require a credit card on file to cover significant damages or missing property.
